Our Regular Cask Beers, Ales and Lagers
Based on our Champion Pale Ale, Lighthouse is a light 3.4% abv golden beer with a light fragrance, lovely malty flavours and a long hoppy finish. Brewed with Pale Ale and Crystal malt, it has a hint of caramel and toffee. It’s hopped with a blend of Fuggles and Goldings hops.
Note first the bright, fresh golden colour and rich frothy head so typical of this elegant Pilsner beer. Its refined herbal notes are delicately poised, followed by a nutty and honeyed aftertaste. The overall impression of this gently sparkling beer is one of deep harmony, with the unmistakeable bitterness of the hops balanced and contained by an agreeable, mellow sweetness in the body.
Oakham Ales JHB
JHB (Jeffrey Hudson Bitter) is a 3.8% A.B.V. light gold ale from Oakham Ales using Challenger and Mount Hood hops.
Adnams Dry Hopped Lager
This golden lager is light, crisp and refreshing with subtle malty flavours and a super hoppy aroma of tropical fruits, citrus and passionfruit.
Aspall Suffolk Cyder
Aspall Draught Suffolk Cyder 5.5% ABV . The brewery is located at Aspall Hall in the village of Aspall, Suffolk.
What can you say about this? It’s Carlsberg on draught, probably the best lager starting with ‘C’ in the pub.
We also have a good selection of bottled beers, lagers, ciders, alcohol free beers and soft drinks.
We pride ourselves on our specially selected range of wines, sourced directly from the merchant, which currently include Reds: Ribshack Shiraz and Campo Azafran and Whites: Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, and Prosecco
